We will soon have to say goodbye to the Honda NSX. She who has not had an easy career in the pack of supercars and sports coupes, since its launch in 2015. But before, the Japanese will be entitled to a special “Type S” treatment, while the manufacturer has just relaunched this label in the United States through its Acura branch.
An NSX Type S that takes us back to the late 90s, when Honda offered this version on the coupe. A sort of link between the “classic” range and the more exclusive Type S Zero and Typ R. At the time, the program was mainly for weight reduction with specific rims, seats or even steering wheels.

Honda has already unveiled a few images of this NSX Type S, with a red engine cover, a number plate and touches of black everywhere. This edition, limited to 350 copies, should thus be swansong for the current NSX, but also for the NSX with a combustion engine itself. Mechanical modifications (engine, suspensions) are obviously expected to mark the occasion.
