Lovers of vintage Italian small cars, mark your calendars! An auction scheduled for September 19, 2021 in Cherré, in the Sarthe, is one of its lots several Fiat 500s from the 1960s and 1970s each having some particularities as well as a handful of other Italian vehicles of the time and a few spare parts that are worth seeing.

The Fiat 500 in station wagon or convertible
The catalog includes no less than 11 Fiat 500s, including a Giardiniera station wagon version which, dating from 1969, bears the Autobianchi badge. It displays less than 10,000 km on the odometer but, under its beautiful exterior, requires some refurbishment according to its technical inspection dating from July 2021.
Just as rare, one of the 400 500 Gamine convertibles bodied by Vignale is also for sale. This 1968 car traveled 77,645 km. It has been recently restored and has several new parts including its battery, alternator, fuel pump and tank. Only the ignition requires an intervention according to the description. The car is estimated at € 25,000.
Abarth, Mazzieri … The 1,000 lives of the 500
Fiat 500s from little-known special series, including a Mazzieri and a Yacht Danzas, are in the catalog. The list also includes a 595 Abarth, and several Abarth “replicas” based on standard 500s including a “695” with a race car look.
The sale will also be an opportunity to get your hands on vintage accessories for Fiat 500. These include rattan or wicker trunks, an instrument cluster or even a trunk gallery.
Not only Fiat in the catalog
The Fiat 500 will not be the only star of this auction. A 1961 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Ti will also go on sale there. Estimated at € 30,000, it displays less than 95,000 km on the odometer, but its technical inspection requires a check-up. A restored 1971 Autobianchi A112 with 121,800 km estimated at 10,000 € will also be offered. We also notice in the catalog an Alfa Romeo Spider 2 L TS from 1998, as well as various objects such as Maserati Biturbo rims, an Alfa Romeo sign or an Alfa Romeo Giulietta dashboard.
