Nissan has unveiled the winner of a photo competition organized to celebrate the 10 years of the Juke.
Launched at the end of 2010, the Nissan Juke immediately caused a stir, with its distinctive styling and trendy compact crossover format. In 2019, Nissan offers it a successor, with a more sober style and a much more modern interior. And to celebrate the 10 years of its star, the Japanese manufacturer has decided to dedicate an extraordinary photo shoot to him.
A photo competition bringing together 10 photographers from very different backgrounds: the automobile of course, but also fashion, architecture, music, street art … Enough to offer ten very different views on the crossover.
A photo without special effects!
And after deliberation, the jury, made up of 20 journalists and 4 Nissan officials, elected the photo of Clement Choulot as the big winner of this competition. The photographer, automotive specialist for 20 years, decided to stage the Juke in front of graffiti.
“I had spotted a wall covered with impressive paintings. These two eccentric figures of Asian inspiration perfectly match the turbulent personality of the Juke. I also saw in their almost circular shape and their juxtaposition a kind of nod to the large round optics which are one of the design signatures of the front part of the Juke. Finally, the blue lightning matched the bodywork perfectly! In short, everything was there. This allowed me to take this photo without special effects. “, Confided the big winner.
The other photos are not lacking in originality either, bringing back the different specialties of the photographers. We thus discover the Juke caught in a storm of bubbles, in the middle of a concert, as a star surrounded by paparazzi, or in astonishing urban universes.
