At about 9:00 p.m., a group of teenagers reportedly provoked a verbal altercation with the young couple. The aggressive young men then rushed into the fray, hitting the 20-year-old on the head with a bottle.
The police writes that the citizen turned to the doctors for help. They diagnosed him with a traumatic brain injury.
According to law enforcement officers, the incident was reported by passers-by who witnessed the event. The police have already managed to identify all the participants. At the moment, investigations are ongoing.
“The event is qualified as hooliganism. Information under Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine has been entered into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations. The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of three to seven years,” the law enforcement authorities said in a statement.

According to her, the teenagers were intoxicated and provoked the conflict themselves. The police told the victims that this was not the first such situation with this group of teenagers, but they had not been punished before.
