On International Women’s Day, it will be possible to park for free on all streets of Moscow. The only exception will be parking lots with barriers.
By decision of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, parking lots are free on public holidays — this does not affect the congestion of roads and streets, because fewer cars enter the city. In honor of March 8, it will be possible to leave cars on all streets of the capital without payment. We ask drivers to be careful and park in accordance with the rules,” said Maxim Liksutov, head of the Moscow Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development.

Parking will be free only on March 8. Already on March 9, some streets will again have to pay for a parking space. The fine for unpaid parking in Moscow is 5,000 rubles.
