Stellantis and Renault have experienced a shortage of car carrier drivers. This causes difficulties with the delivery of finished customer cars from factories in France.
One of the reasons for this problem is that a large number of truck drivers were originally from Ukraine, and recently, due to fighting, they have become unavailable.

To resolve this issue, companies offered employees from other fields of activity to retrain as drivers. Stellantis has already found 140 such volunteers. The change of activity can be permanent or temporary at the request of the employee.
