According to the Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, the World Congress of Ukrainians has strengthened the Army of Drones by raising $630,000. UAV sets were sent to the front in Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
The World Congress of Ukrainians strengthened the “Army of Drones” by raising money for 30 sets of Matrice 300 RTK UAVs. The Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov spoke about this in his social networks.
According to the official, Ukrainians from 70 countries were able to accumulate $630,000 through the Unite With Ukraine platform to purchase drones for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Fedorov stressed that the “birdies” are already on the front line. The drones were sent to the front line in Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson, Zaporozhye and Kharkiv regions, as well as to border areas in the north of the country.
“They will help the fighters control the front line, find the most camouflaged positions of the invaders and accurately adjust artillery on enemy positions,” the head of the ministry commented.
