We will soon be able to cross a name from the (very short) list of manufacturers who do not offer an SUV. In 2022, Ferrari will have its own, the Purosangue. Or almost ! The Italian manufacturer is preparing a model that breaks the codes on the backpacker market, an SUV … not too SUV.
If Ferrari thus gives in to the 4×4 fashion, it does not want an overly utilitarian silhouette, in no way linked to its brand image. No question of offering a Lamborghini Urus or BMW XM pachyderm. As the images of our scoop hunter show, the Purosangue will have a much more sporty and slender look.

Moreover, one has the impression of seeing a hunting station wagon. The roof plunges quickly, the window is very inclined. And as on the brand’s sports cars, the hood is stretched and plunges towards a grille placed at the bottom of the shield.
The evocation of break is not trivial. The Purosangue will take over from the GTC4 Lusso, itself an evolution of the FF, which was the most family-friendly, and of the Ferraris… and the brand’s first four-wheel drive model. But the big difference here will be the addition of two doors. The Purosangue will thus be a five-door vehicle, which will make it the most welcoming of Ferraris.

Technically, no info has filtered out, but Ferrari has a choice. We could find the twin-turbo V8 of the Roma coupe, strong of 620 hp, or the new plug-in hybrid assembly of the 296 GTB, with V6 and electric motor for 830 hp cumulative.
