The mother of the deceased soldier said that she understood everything by the look of her son – Alexander Matsievsky knew that they were going to kill him.
“When I saw his look at the video, I realized that he could not do anything. He understood that this was the end. Once we agreed that if he was injured and bled, he would call me and say three times: “Yes, yes yes!” But in the video he said: “Glory to Ukraine!” And God gave me the opportunity to hear these words,” recalls Demchuk.
According to her, Alexander is a hardworking, principled and persistent person, he enlisted in the army as soon as the war began.
“Sasha said he couldn’t sit idly by. His grandfather defended his Motherland during World War II. Therefore, he went to war without hesitation. The last time I spoke to him was on December 29 – he called me and told me to pick up the parcel new uniform that he was given. He never had time to put it on,” said the mother of the deceased soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
