In a statement published in Russian, Vereshchuk calls on the Russian authorities to provide lists of children deported to Russia.
Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Irina Vereshchuk publicly appealed to the Russian Commissioner for Human Rights Tatiana Moskalkova and the Russian Commissioner for Children’s Rights Maria Lvova-Belova, demanding to provide lists of all Ukrainian children, whom the aggressor country illegally exported from the temporarily occupied territories to Russia. The corresponding statement was published by the minister in her Telegram channel.
“I propose to immediately transfer to the Ukrainian side the lists of all orphans and children deprived of parental care who: 1) were citizens of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, up to 18 years old inclusive, 2) are now in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, 3) were taken out of temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine to Russian territory,” Vereshchuk said.
She noted that the lists can be sent to the official e-mail of the Ministry of Reintegration.
