According to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, if Ukraine does not achieve victory on the battlefield in the near future, the Russian Federation will again accumulate forces for a second full-scale invasion.
Recently, in Ukraine, due to the psychological pressure of the Russian Federation, more and more people are starting to talk about peace negotiations with the aggressor state. This was announced by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexei Danilov on the air of the program “Speak Great Lviv” on Thursday, March 9.
According to him, the massive rocket attack on Ukraine on March 9 is one of the parts of the psychological pressure on the inhabitants of our country.
“This (the shelling of Ukraine – ed.) is one of the elements of certain processes on the territory of our country. This is an inclination to negotiations (with the Russian Federation – ed.),” Danilov said.
As an example, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council cited the story of one of the officials from the Lviv region, who spoke on the air about the need to sit down at the negotiating table with the Russian Federation.
“And there are more and more of them. This is a very dangerous trend, when people even from western Ukraine start talking about such things (peace negotiations with the aggressor – ed.),” Danilov specified.
He also spoke about the need for Ukraine to end a full-scale war on the battlefield.
“If we don’t bring this war to an end today and don’t put an end to this war, keep in mind that in a short time our grandchildren and great-grandchildren will lie in the cemetery,” Danilov summed up.

Recall that on March 6, the Office of the President of Ukraine responded to Hungary’s calls for peace with Russia. The idea of capitulation of Ukrainians will only protect the genocide of the RF Armed Forces, Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Presidential Office, said at the time.
Focus also wrote that a few days earlier, the head of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry, Peter Szijjarto, spoke of the unwillingness to supply the Armed Forces of Ukraine with weapons, since a full-scale war must be ended with a peace agreement. According to him, the first goal is to stop killing people, which means a ceasefire agreement and nothing more.
