On the night of March 17-18, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation fired at the city of Zaporozhye with S-300 missiles. This became known from the Telegram channel of the Zaporozhye Regional Military Administration.
“The enemy has committed another war crime. Hold on!” – the publication says.
According to the OVA, Russian missiles hit one of the objects of a residential complex in Zaporozhye. From the blast wave in neighboring houses, windows were knocked out, and facades and roofs were also damaged.
Consequences of the shelling of Zaporozhye
“All relevant services are working on the spot. Information about the victims is being specified,” the administration said.
Later, the secretary of the Zaporozhye city council, Anatoly Kurtev, said that as a result of a nighttime rocket attack, a catering establishment was destroyed in the city and damage was caused to nearby buildings. According to Kurtev, there were no casualties.
“People were not injured. All relevant services are working at the place of arrival,” Kurtev wrote on Telegram.
Recall that on March 17, the Russian Armed Forces also attacked the territory of Ukraine with Iranian-made drones. According to the Vostok Air Command, three UAVs were shot down by air defense forces. Two more drones hit an infrastructure facility in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
According to the head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak, on March 17, the Russian invaders also launched 4 air strikes on Avdiivka in the Donetsk region. He noted that the shelling of the front-line city lasted around the clock.
Earlier, on March 15, the RF Armed Forces attacked the civilian infrastructure of Kharkiv with S-300 missiles. According to the head of the local regional state administration, there were no human casualties.
