Quadcopters equipped with white and red signal lights continuously monitored the military unit responsible for the air defense of the capital of the Russian Federation.
Three drones were spotted in the sky over New Moscow. This was announced on March 13 by the Telegram channel Mash.
Previously, unmanned aerial vehicles conducted continuous surveillance of the military unit of the Aerospace Forces, located in New Moscow (part of the Moscow Region, which was annexed to Moscow on July 1, 2012 – ed.). It is this military unit that provides air and missile defense of the capital.
According to media reports, quadrocopters were raised from the forest belt next to the unit. They were equipped with white and red signal lights.
The drones kept to a height of 200 meters, but dropped near the military unit. They circled around the buildings and flew back.
The sentry checkpoint and patrol police drones noticed and reported them to the command.
Law enforcement officers examined the forest, but did not find any UAV operators or the drones themselves.
In addition, one unmanned aerial vehicle was also seen near the settlement of Krasnopakhorskoe. He flew away towards the gas station “Tatneft”.
Recall that on March 13, explosions thundered in Belgorod. According to Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov, four rockets were allegedly shot down over the region at night, and a woman was injured from falling debris. Local social networks, in turn, claim that a Russian rocket flying towards Ukraine self-destructed in the sky.
We also note that on March 1, a reconnaissance radar station was installed in Moscow. According to Russian journalists, short and long-range air defense systems should be located near such a station.
