Already at the end of March, Jupiter, Mercury, Venus, Uranus and Mars will line up in one line in the sky.
It is not unusual to see two or three planets aligned in the night sky. But on March 28, 2023, the inhabitants of the Earth will be able to observe a rare phenomenon – the alignment of five planets of the solar system at once. During this parade of planets, Jupiter, Mercury, Venus, Uranus and Mars will line up in one line, writes the Daily Mail.

At the end of March, a rare alignment of the planets in the solar system will be visible in the sky, as as many as five worlds – Jupiter, Mercury, Uranus, Mars and Venus – will line up during an event known as the parade of the planets. Although this is not exactly a scientific name for this event, nevertheless, many people associate the alignment of the planets in the night sky with this term.
According to scientists, on Tuesday, March 28, after sunset, all 5 planets will be visible in the sky quite well. The brightest planets in this case will be Mercury and Jupiter, which will be visible above the horizon, as well as Venus, which will be slightly higher in the sky. Mars will be slightly less visible, and in order to see Uranus you will need binoculars.
According to Beth Biller of the University of Edinburgh, UK, the very alignment of the planets, when they visually appear on the same line, is not unusual when it comes to two or three planets. But the alignment of the five planets is a rarer occurrence. For example, such a parade of planets could be observed in 2022, 2020 and 2016. Last year, residents of the northern hemisphere of the Earth could watch the alignment of Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn.

According to Biller, it will be easiest to see Venus and Jupiter in the sky. In fact, these two planets have already been observed at close range to each other over the past few weeks. Although Mars will not be as bright, it will still be visible to the naked eye. As for Mercury, it will be visible only if the sky is very clear. And Uranus without binoculars or a telescope will be almost impossible to detect.
At the same time, scientists point out that depending on the location of a person and the presence of obstacles such as tall trees and buildings, it can be difficult to see all 5 planets at the same time. But if you try hard and also use binoculars, then the parade of planets in March will be remembered for a long time, scientists say.
Even if you miss out on the incredible cosmic spectacle this month, astronomers say there are still a few more planetary alignment events in store for 2023. For example, in April, Mercury, Uranus, Venus, and Mars can be seen lining up, and during another similar event this month, Mars, Venus, Uranus, and Mercury will line up.
Focus has already written that at the end of February this year, the Moon, Jupiter and Venus lined up in a row in the night sky.
Focus also wrote that scientists have solved the mystery of the disappearance of fuel from the orbiter on Mars. The NASA spacecraft, as analysis showed, almost ran out of fuel, but then it turned out that everything was not so scary.
