Yasemne Kaptan, 46, from London, has been starving for a year after spending 60 of her £69 weekly allowance on her pets after an illness forced her to quit her job. It is reported by The Mirror.
The woman only eats once a week to have enough money to feed her six cats. A British woman drinks mint tea to satisfy her hunger. According to her, she has lost a lot of weight lately.
Yasemn Kaptan claims that these animals can help her in any life difficulties. She spends £60 of her £69 weekly allowance on her pets.
The woman also receives a £400 monthly disability benefit due to her osteoporosis. However, she is forced to give most of this money for rent and utilities.

“I don’t have extra money, but I can’t leave my cats. They grew up with me, I have them since they were still kittens,” Yasemn shared.
