What is leasing?
Car leasing is, we recall, the transfer of rights from a legal entity to use a car for a fee, with or without subsequent redemption. It looks like a rental, but a long one.
Car leasing is widespread in many countries of the world. In our country, it is only becoming popular, and so far it is more often used by legal entities. But “physicists” it is also available.
Which companies offer car leasing?
There are already hundreds of such companies in Moscow. Of the large ones, we will name Europlan, Carcade, Sberleasing, Control Leasing, VTB-Leasing, RESO-Leasing, Raiffeisen-Leasing, Alfa-Leasing, Gazprombank Leasing, Business Car Leasing … Most of them have more than one branch in the capital.
Some companies are engaged not only in cars, but also in commercial and special equipment – this line of business is more in demand and popular, despite the overall decrease in the number of leasing transactions since 2021. So, in 2022, the Russian leasing market sank by almost 20%.
The package of documents required to conclude a transaction includes two sections: legal and financial documents, including information on the amount of income and their source.
What’s available?
Basically, popular models of cars are offered for leasing – they are in high demand. But among the offers of Moscow companies, you can also find exclusive ones.
Let’s list a few of them.
The Evolution of Autoleasing company offers to sign a contract for Genesis cars (Hyundai premium sub-brand), G70 and G90 sedans, Land Rover (including Range Rover Velar) and Mercedes-Benz, including S-class. The list of models also includes the AMG GT 4-door coupe. Moreover, the company promises to save up to 40% on taxes, refund VAT on the entire amount of the lease agreement and reduce income tax by attributing lease payments to cost.
The cost of the luxury crossover Range Rover Velar 2022 is from 8.5 million rubles. In a three-year lease it can be taken for 124,782 rubles per month.
Europlan offers to lease any Porsche. For example, Panamera for 7 years. The minimum monthly payment is 91,842 rubles per month. And no advance payment (the so-called “zero”) is required to receive the car. Only the Porsche 911 is more expensive (101,220 rubles per month), cheaper – all other models.
In the same company, you can also lease Chinese premium cars Voyah – Free and Dream, 78,228 and 92,736 rubles, respectively. And – attention – these cars now attract no less than Porsche. What will happen in 7 years (the term of the contract), no one will say.

Aurus Senat is also available for leasing

New expensive brands from China are actively appearing, including those with electric vehicles. For example, a HiPhi X electric car was recently issued, worth 13.5 million rubles. We see great interest in the Voyah premium brand, which is represented by both an electric car and a hybrid: the cost of models is 8 million rubles on average. We finance Skywell premium electric vehicles that appeared this year. And the car (for internal combustion engines) Exeed VX, worth about 5 million, can already be called popular: the volume of loans increased by 3 times compared to the same period in 2022.
We also note the leasing in 2023 of the Russian luxury car Aurus Senat.
Sberleasing. The offer for today is 424 Mercedes-Benz, 305 Audi and 153 BMW only in Moscow, not counting cars of other brands. For example, you wanted to lease a premium crossover Jaguar F-Pace. Welcome to Kuntsevo, on the street. Gorbunova, 14, managers will accept and approve the application, prepare and execute documents, accept payment and issue a car. You just need to decide to give the company a monthly amount comparable to the average monthly salary in Moscow – and so on for several years.
VTB Leasing. The company works primarily with BMW. For example, for 138,900 rubles a month, you can take an executive sedan of the 7th series – for a period of 60 months. True, you will have to leave an advance in the amount of 49%. The coupe of the 8th series will require from 155,900 rubles a month, and this is much more than the average Moscow salary.
Engine power in the BMW 8 Series reaches 530 hp, prices start at 9.78 million rubles. Luxury without compromise.
Alfa-Leasing offers customers a huge number of both new and used cars. Of the most exotic options, we liked the Polestar 2 electric car, the serial embodiment of the 2016 Volvo Concept 40.2 concept by designer Maximilian Missoni. If you want to surprise (or even shame) your friends with Teslas – you are here. Just prepare at least 55,261 rubles a month – if you are ready to pay an advance of 2.1 million and take a car for 5 years. If you take for a year and pay only 1,000 rubles as an advance, you will have to pay almost 400,000 rubles a month.
Does the company “Business Car” justify its name? Undoubtedly. For example, you can lease a huge new Lexus LX IV, VIP Black, valued at 21,990,000 rubles. Monthly payment – 305,700 rubles. The Executive version is cheaper – 271,000 rubles per month. And you can save a lot by leasing, for example, the same large and solid, but far from new Infiniti QX80 – for 84,900 rubles a month. Or do you want a Hummer H3? Only 19,500 rubles per month. True, the year of manufacture of the car is 2009, and the mileage is 332,697 km. It’s hard to say how long he’s been running. But it looks impressive.
Giant Infiniti can be leased for the price of renting a two-room studio on Khodynsky Boulevard (CSKA).
Need a giant SUV? Let’s take an Audi. Let’s say S8 – to get acquainted with the moment in history when the engineers from Ingolstadt made their wildest dreams come true. Engine 5.2 liters, 450 hp, four-wheel drive, acceleration to 100 km / h in 5.1 seconds. But the year of manufacture is 2007, the mileage is 331,456 km. The cost of the car is 808,000 rubles, you need to pay from 11,300 rubles per month.
Need something newer? Genesis GV80 2021 with a range of 40,853 km at a price of 6,700,000 rubles. Looks great. Monthly payment – 93,200 rubles, feasible for a successful businessman or top manager.
With presidential flair
In leasing, as you already understood, you can even get Aurus. Prices? Impressive. For example, if you take Aurus Senat for a year, you will have to pay 2,316,711 rubles a month. For Limousine – 6,746,247 rubles with the contract amount of 80,964,965 rubles. However, leasing companies draw up such contracts, although rarely.

In addition, the lack of warranty support from manufacturers makes the purchase of such equipment highly risky.
These reasons and more complicated supply schemes, which also affected the price, significantly reduced the interest in the exclusive both from potential customers and from the auto business: dealers concentrated on supplying more affordable cars.

The supply of car leasing significantly outstrips demand. Leasing for individuals is designed for a relatively small group of people (most likely quite young) who set out to provide themselves with expensive property right here and now and are confident in their long, prosperous future.
But since leasing is more profitable than conventional car loans, the process is underway, and this segment will develop. In the meantime, the main attention of companies involved in car leasing is focused on more popular brands and models – and this is quite natural.
