According to parallel imports, models cheaper than 2.5 million are almost never imported. But there are still exceptions…
The price of the Chevrolet Monza against the general background of the Russian market looks very attractive: from 1.7 million for a sedan that is quite modern in design and filling. Thus, Monza falls into the now almost unpopulated niche of new cars for 1.5–2 million rubles, where only the new Vesta will soon live.
According to Sergei Zinoviev, an expert at Za Khulem, at one time the Chevrolet Monza sedan was created as a simplified version of the “Chinese” Chevrolet Cruze, but it eventually left, and the Monza remained, having undergone restyling last year. The good news is that the Monza chassis retained many of the solutions of the super-reliable Lacetti.

But the power units are different: aspirated 1.5 with a return of 113 hp. (similar engines were installed on the Uzbek Chevrolet and Ravon) paired with a 6-speed robot and supercharged 1.3 with a capacity of 163 hp. (built-in starter-generator adds 11 hp at the start) with a classic automatic.
The equipment is balanced – it seems that they tried to keep the price due to it: for example, there is no climate control (only air conditioning), but there is a 10.25″ multimedia screen and wireless charging of smartphones.
And here are a few more options as an alternative to the “official” Chinese crossovers. “Behind the wheel” can be viewed on YouTube
