According to Boris Tizenhausen, the Russian leader is unlikely to live to see his retirement. The expert does not believe in the revolt of the Russians and predicts the coming to power of another dictator.
On television, political strategist Boris Tizenhausen outlined the options for the future of Russia. Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to him, will not live to see the change of power. The expert told about this to journalists of Channel 24 on March 10.
Boris Tizenhausen assured that Russia would not be able to afford a protracted war. The RF Armed Forces, he said, can only fire missiles at Ukraine once a month if the conflict drags on for years. However, as the expert explained, air defense systems will protect Ukrainians from such attacks.
The political strategist is sure that the Kremlin considers Ukraine, Georgia and Kazakhstan to be sub-states. The leadership of Russia, in his opinion, does not expect resistance from peoples who supposedly have nothing to fight for, but the Russians made a mistake with Ukraine.
“He is a psychopath, but not insane. He calmly makes decisions to launch rockets, but not because he has gone crazy,” Tiesenhausen said about Vladimir Putin.
In general, the expert said that the attitude of the Russian leader to his image has changed. Previously, he said, Putin strove for the fear of others, but recently the image of a terrorist does not give him pleasure.
“If earlier it was all more informational, now it’s about practical things. Putin is really respected and shake hands by a very limited number of people: China, partners in the CSTO, Zimbabwe, Eritrea, etc.,” said the political strategist.
Tiesenhausen does not believe in the rebellion of the Russians. In his opinion, being part of the Soviet Union “washed away critical thinking” from the majority of Russian citizens. He is sure that the people of the aggressor country need a “strong steel hand”, which they got used to under Putin’s rule.
Regarding the future of the Russian Federation, the expert outlined several ways available to the leader of the state:
the fate of North Korea for the country; “selling” defeat to the electorate as a victory; a change of power.
But Putin will not live to see the last point, Tizenhausen assured. The political strategist gave the President of Russia “a year or two”. The aggressor country must undergo fragmentation, Tiesenhausen said.
“They will become more militarized, give birth to children – these warriors, fighters. I think they can once again try to repeat the Georgian scenario that was in 2008. No, Russia should give up its nuclear potential – then it will be easier to talk with them,” – said the expert.

Tizenhausen also explained that the discussion about Russia’s responsibility for the war crimes committed is important even now, when the war continues. It is necessary to demonstrate to the Russian dictator that atrocities are punished. According to the political strategist, the world shows Vladimir Putin that he “was recognized as a maniac and will be tried.” He also called such discussions a signal to countries that still seek to support the aggressor country.
However, it will not be easy to achieve the responsibility of Vladimir Putin in the Hague court. Tizenhausen explained that the Russian dictator could end up on the dock as a result of two events: either Ukraine should “pull him out of the bunker” and take him to The Hague, or an internal coup should take place in the Russian Federation.
Recall that today Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the Kremlin does not see the opportunity to negotiate with Ukraine because of the position of Vladimir Zelensky. The Russian official complained that Russia was blamed for the lack of desire to negotiate, although it was the President of Ukraine who repeatedly announced his refusal to speak with Vladimir Putin.
Also on March 10, Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree on calling up reserve officers for military service. It was noted on the website of the President of Belarus that such events are held annually to ensure high-quality training of the mobilization reserve.
