The popular service was included in the list of banned services after the Ukrainian hit was included in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
In Russia, the music service Last.fm was blocked because of the song “Chornobaivka” by the Ukrainian artist Jalsomino. The Roskomsvoboda telegram channel writes about this.
It is reported that an “unknown government agency” added a link to the list of blocked sites.
“The link is blocked via HTTPS, so in Russia there may be problems accessing the popular American music service,” the message says.
As local pro-Russian telegram channels wrote, it was recently turned on by a resident of the occupied Crimea. A certain woman named Anzhelika Kosterina, who owns a hotel in Alushta, played the song “Chornobaivka” in a public place. The song endorses the killings of Russian invaders, as well as the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Recall that in January, the CIA and FBI websites were blocked in Russia “for spreading fakes.” Roskomnadzor ruled that US intelligence and the Federal Bureau of Investigation data “discredit the Russian army”, so access to their sites should be restricted. The blocking period is not specified.
It was also reported that in Russia it is no longer possible to use “enemy” software. Messengers and services such as Telegram, WhatsApp, Viber, Microsoft Teams, Skype, Discord, Snapchat, Threema and WeChat were banned from use in state and some private structures of Russia.
