According to Vladimir Nazarenko, deputy commander of the Svoboda battalion, the situation in Bakhmut changes every 10-15 minutes. The enemy is trying to break through the center of the city, because he understands that there is no way to get through the outskirts.
The situation in Bakhmut resembles hell: the occupying troops shell the city at intervals of several hours – artillery, mortars, and MLRS are used. Vladimir Nazarenko, deputy commander of the Svoboda battalion, announced this on the air of the telethon.
“The situation is close to hell, but our troops with significant efforts manage to hold the Konstantinovka-Bakhmut highway in the Ivanovsky area,” the soldier explained what was happening in Bakhmut. According to him, the situation changes every 10-15 minutes, the enemy is making attempts to “go into urban battles” in the “airplane” area, since they are aware that they are not able to take Ivanovskoye.
Nazarenko also urged not to believe fake statements that Bakhmut is surrounded, as the Russians intend to sow panic among the inhabitants of Ukraine.
He also mentioned that Russian troops are suffering significant losses along the entire sector of the front, and that for the leadership of the RF Armed Forces “soldiers are cheaper than artillery shells.”
Recall that, in the ISW report for March 5, it is reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are conducting a limited retreat from Bakhmut, but the Russians will not be able to advance further. Moreover, the Russian offensive will inevitably stop, as it did near Vuhledar, which will create the conditions for a Ukrainian counteroffensive.
Earlier, Focus reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine sent Ukrainian pilots to an air base in the United States to test their skills and experience. American instructors will assess how long it takes the pilots of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to master Western aircraft. At the same time, according to the Air Force command, Ukraine is adapting airfields for allied aviation.
