GAZ Group will start serial production of 18-meter E-Citymax 18 articulated electric buses this year.
According to Nikolai Odintsov, Vice President for Corporate Sales Development of the Group, serious investments are allocated to create a platform for electric transport.
“The largest electric bus, which we will launch this year, will be 18 meters long,” Odintsov said, adding that they are supposed to be delivered to Mosgortrans.

Earlier, GAZ handed over an accordion electric bus E-Citymax 18 to Moscow for operational testing, accommodating up to 140 passengers. At the end of June last year, she began to run in the north-east of Moscow.
