According to local activist Vitaliy Votanovsky, relatives of the Wagner PMC fighters cannot visit the graves – they are not told where they were buried.
At the cemetery of PMC “Wagner” in the village of Bakuskaya, Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation, almost 30 new graves of soldiers of the military formation who died in Ukraine were discovered. This was written by the author of the Telegram channel “Titushki in Krasnodar”, retired officer of the Russian Aerospace Forces Vitaly Votanovsky.
So, if as of February 23 of this year there were about 380 graves in the special burial place of the Wagnerites, then on March 4 there were 406, that is, 26 more.
Votanovsky also told journalists of the Kavkaz Realii project that most of the graves are with Orthodox crosses. However, there are burials with Muslim inscriptions.

According to the activist, Wagnerites are buried not only in a separate cemetery in the village of Baku, but also in other settlements. So, he found the graves of PMC members in the village of Krepostnoy and in the village of Afipsky.
After Votanovsky began to search for and photograph the graves of the Wagnerites, relatives of the Russians who died in Ukraine began to write to the pensioner. According to them, people are not told exactly where the members of the private military company are buried. Families can find the graves of fighters thanks to publications on the Internet. Such cases, according to the activist, are not isolated.

Recall that the emergence of a cemetery for mercenaries from PMC “Wagner” became known at the end of December this year. PMC founder Yevgeny Prigozhin then spoke about 93 fresh graves. The cemetery is located near the town of Goryachiy Klyuch, where monuments to the “Wagnerites” were erected and a chapel was built.
As of January 24, there were already about 170 graves there. Local residents are sure that the number of liquidated mercenaries could be several times higher, because many militants were cremated.
