According to journalists, near the international airport, the air defense system shot down a Ukrainian drone. However, the government of the region claims that the cause of the noise was the plane, “passing the sound barrier.”
On the evening of March 3, two explosions sounded near the international airport of the city of Bryansk in the Russian Federation. About this writes the online edition of Mash.
According to journalists, the local air defense system shot down a drone launched from the Ukrainian side.
Nevertheless, the authorities of the Russian region deny this information. The government of the Bryansk region said that the reason for the loud sounds was a fighter jet that allegedly passed the sound barrier, RIA Novosti reported.
“The Ministry of Internal Affairs said that the fighter passed the supersonic barrier,” the interlocutor of the journalists specified.
At the same time, the media confirms that at about 20.00 Moscow time, a “deaf bang” was heard in the sky over Bryansk. Such a sound was reported in the center and on the outskirts of the Soviet district of the city.
