On the night of March 2, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched a missile attack on the city of Zaporozhye, as a result of which a multi-storey residential building was damaged. This was announced by the secretary of the Zaporozhye City Council Anatoly Kurtev in his Telegram channel.
“Damned rashist monsters again treacherously attacked the night Zaporozhye. According to preliminary information, as a result of an enemy arrival in one of the districts of the city, a multi-storey residential building was destroyed,” Kurtev wrote.

The Zaporozhye Regional Military Administration noted that the attack on the high-rise building was likely carried out by Russian S-300 missiles, as a result of which three floors of the building were destroyed.
“Another terrorist act was committed by Russian troops against the civilian population! An hour ago, the enemy launched a missile attack (probably S-300) on a residential building in the regional center. The projectile destroyed three floors.” – wrote in the OVA.

Recall that on March 1, the Russian Armed Forces attacked the territory of Ukraine with kamikaze drones. The Poltava OVA reported the destruction of five enemy drones by air defense forces.
On the evening of March 1, the Russians also fired 152 mm cannon artillery and mortars at 5 local territorial communities of the Sumy region: Novoslobodskaya, Krasnopolskaya, Esmanskaya, Shalyginskaya and Belopolskaya. A total of 31 arrivals are known.
