In this regard, the chairman of the Russian part of the Russian-Chinese Committee for Friendship, Peace and Development, Boris Titov, called on Chinese automakers to actively invest in assembly plants in Russia.

“Haval and JAC already have their own assembly plants, other brands should also “pull up”, there are a lot of opportunities now. So far, Chinese auto brands are not very well known in Russia, and they are not always trusted. This needs to be changed,” Titov stressed.
The Association of Chinese Automobile Manufacturers includes the largest Chinese auto brands and Russian importers. The first meeting took place a few days ago.
