The updated trains will start running from the first days of March, as noted by the company. This decision should significantly increase the number of train tickets to Poland.
The train from Kyiv to Warsaw, which over the past year has become one of the most popular for Ukrainian passengers, decided to increase the number of cars. This was stated in the press service of the company “Ukrzaliznytsia”.
Starting from March 1 of this year, it was decided to add an additional RIC class car to the most popular route No. 67/68 “TsKiev – Warsaw Vskhodnya”. Tickets for this flight must be taken on time.
The first updated train will leave the station on March 2, as noted by the company.
“Additional tickets will be available exclusively in the Ukrzaliznytsia app tomorrow at exactly 08:00 – we remind you that now the Warsaw route is available only to registered passengers with a real phone number and no more than 4 tickets per person,” the message says.
Only RIC wagons with three-seater compartments run along this route, and the reason is the discrepancy in the width of the tracks and the need to rearrange wagon bogies at the border.
With the beginning of spring, the number of train tickets will increase, which should make life easier for passengers.
Ukrzaliznytsia also reminded about the new flight No. 19/20 Kyiv – Chelm with a convenient transfer to Warsaw. It departs from Kyiv daily at 18:14, arrives in Chelm at 4:55, and in Warsaw at 10:12.
Recall that on January 31, Ukrzaliznytsia launched two new trains to Poland. They will run between countries daily and passengers will be able to get to the desired city without obstacles.
On January 17, the Minister of Digital Transformation, Mikhail Fedorov, announced that in 2023 satellite Internet from Starlink will appear in all Intercity + trains. According to him, during testing, the data transmission and reception speed was 65.7 Mbps, while uninterrupted access to the Internet was provided for 96.7% of the path.
