Soldiers of the 110th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down an enemy attack aircraft the day after the shelling of the plant management of the enterprise.
Ukrainian defenders shot down the Su-25 of the RF Armed Forces, which yesterday, February 25, attacked the building of the plant management of the Avdiivka Coke Plant in the Donetsk region. The Armed Forces managed to capture the Russian pilot. This was announced by the People’s Deputy Musa Magomedov.
“They say: ‘Revenge is a dish served cold.’ But not in this case. Yesterday’s air raid on Avdiyivka Coke was avenged in less than a day. This morning, a SU-25 was shot down over Avdiyivka by the 110th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the pilot was taken prisoner. Glory to the Armed Forces of Ukraine!” he wrote.
Musa Magomedov noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine “grounded” a Russian attack aircraft from the Stinger.
On February 25, the RF Armed Forces also carried out two missile strikes on the Avdiivka coke plant. The missiles hit the plant management area. One person was injured in the head and shoulder. The victim was taken to the hospital in Pokrovsk.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 2 columns of armored Russian vehicles near Ugledar, probably belonging to the 155th brigade of the Russian Armed Forces, according to a February 25 report by the Institute for the Study of War. British intelligence added that it is possible that units of the marines of the RF Armed Forces will soon again be thrown into the offensive in the Ugledar direction.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine defeated Russian soldiers from the 503rd motorized rifle regiment of the RF Armed Forces in the Tokmak area in Zaporozhye. They destroyed 120 invaders who were trying to conduct reconnaissance.
