The time is approaching for the BMW M3 Touring, the very first sporty and family model of the 3 Series. Everything suggests that this model will be presented this year, and this new video confirms it once again.
Posted on Instagram, this short video clip highlights the new and future star model of the German brand somewhere in the mountains. After a series of drifts, the helicopter view allows us to read the message written on the snowy ground: “2022”.
BMW M has yet to announce a launch date for its M3 Touring. It is certain that it will be revealed during 2022, especially since the sports department of the Munich manufacturer celebrates this year its 50th birthday. A total of four sporty models will be launched, the BMW M3 Touring being one of them.

The family sports car will be strictly identical to the sedan variant. We will therefore find under its hood the engine 510 hp 3.0 L twin-turbo inline six associated with the xDrive all-wheel drive. Slightly heavier, the M3 Touring should be slightly less capable, but that won’t prevent it from accelerating from 0 to 100 km / h in about 4.0 seconds.
Knowing that the BMW M3 Sedan starts in France from € 102,000, the station wagon will be at least as expensive and subject to the maximum ecological penalty which will be capped at € 40,000. If you want to drive a BMW M without breaking the bank, BMW M is launching a 100% electric range like the 544 hp BMW i4 M50, which starts at € 71,650 and does not suffer from any ecological penalty.
This new year will also be the occasion to discover the brand new BMW M2, a more spicy version of the BMW M4 as well as the first 100% electric M.
