Don’t know what to get me for Christmas? No need to look any further, I will be satisfied with the very cubic, but also very aerodynamic, Alfa Romeo SZ which will go under the hammer on December 12 during the autumn sale of the house Aguttes, in Paris.
This copy, the 38th produced out of a total of 1,035, displays less than 3,300 km on the odometer and its price is estimated between 50 and 80,000 €. Comfortably seated in cream-colored “petal” seats, what could be better than lulling your ears to the singing of the V6 “Busso” 3.0? A good investment, certainly!
Otherwise, you can also let yourself be tempted by other nuggets from Alfa, such as this 1965 TZ with aluminum body and estimated between 800,000 and 1.2 million, this 2600 SZ 1966 (105 units produced) which should start between 100 and 150 000 €, or this extremely rare 6C 2500 S Freecia d’oro 1950, which could well fly beyond the € 250,000 which constitutes the upper range of its estimate.
We could continue the enumeration at will, and I can not resist the temptation to mention this Maserati 400 GT 2 + 2 from 1967 (photo above), model produced in only 224 copies, and estimated between 160 and € 200,000.
