The G-Power tuner gives the M3 and M4 more freedom and inflates the 6-cylinder in-line to 700 hp! The maximum speed then climbs to 330 km / h.
More power for the M3 and M4
With their 510 hp biturbo inline 6-cylinder engine, the BMW M3 and M4 cannot be said to lack power. However, G-Power has decided to boost them “slightly”, giving them a more substantial team.
An increase in several stages
For those finding the sedan and the coupe of the Bavarian manufacturer too shy, the tuner goes there in stages. First of all, it is possible to opt for the first level of power increase. That consists of a simple adjustment of the basic software. The power is climbing then at 600 hp while the torque goes from 650 Nm to 718 Nm.
In stage 2, the modifications are more profound. The exhaust line is replaced by a tailor-made one while the block receives a different update. The 6-cylinder then gains 50 hp to reach 650 ch. The torque is then established at 718 Nm.
A maximum of 700 hp!
Finally the third step is to add a downpipe in order to allow the turbo to be more efficient. The number of horses then reaches the comfortable value of 700, no less than 190 hp more than the original M3 and M4! The torque will also allow lightning overruns with a value of 837 Nm.
If BMW electronically restricts its models to 250 km / h. G-Power blows it up and therefore allows the sedan and the coupe to reach 330 km / h!
Aesthetics not forgotten
In addition to technical changes, G-Power provides the M3 / M4 duo with some cosmetic specificitys. We can thus opt for 21 inch forged rims as well as for some carbon parts such as the hood or the rear spoiler.
