Carbon fenders, 800 hp and incredible charisma – TechArt continues to experiment with Porsche supercars.
TechArt’s latest project in the form of a prototype was caught by photo spies last May: the tuner was testing on the streets a German supercar with a daring appearance and a high-performance engine. Now the new TechArt GTstreet R is officially presented. TechArt offers two different power boosts for the GTstreet R, the largest of which is 800 hp. and 950 Nm of torque.
The engine’s recoil has been improved with redesigned turbochargers, improved exhaust and new tuning to make it all work together. The second package is more modest – 700 horsepower.
TechArt also offers a choice of two suspension modifications. The sports suspension package adds stiffer springs, while the second option offers adjustable coilovers. A third fully adjustable suspension option is not yet available, but TechArt promises it will appear in a future Clubsport package.

The carbon fiber body kit includes new front and rear panels, a new boot lid, two-piece side skirts and a massive racing-style rear wing. There’s also a roof spoiler that helps move air where it’s needed most, and the luxury center-locking wheels feature special carbon fiber discs around the lip for better airflow and less weight.
The interior was also worked on, but not so radically. GTstreet R buyers can choose from a wide variety of materials, including leather, Alcantara and carbon fiber. The cost of the GTStreet R starts at 73,000 euros. In total, only 87 of these supercars will be produced.
Earlier, AutoTimesNews said that unofficial renders of a “charged” Ford Maverick ST pickup were leaked on the Web. The compact model could well get such a high-performance version if the automaker decides there will be demand for it.
