Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Presidential Office, commented on the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to occupied Mariupol. The criminal always returns to the scene of the crime, noted he’s in his Twitter post.
“At a time when the countries of the civilized world are announcing the arrest of the ‘war director’ (Putin V.V.) in case of crossing the border, the organizer of the murders of thousands of Mariupol families came to admire the ruins of the city and mass graves,” Podolyak wrote, calling it “cynicism and lack of remorse.”
In a similar vein spoke out and representatives of the Ministry of Defense: “Like a thief, Putin visited the Ukrainian Mariupol under the cover of night.”

In turn, people’s deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko wonders if Putin was actually in Mariupol.
He points out that a video released by Russian media shows Putin letting a car pass on the road, when the opposite is usually the case. He also says that there is a curfew in the city, and in the footage Putin is met by people in the evening.
Western media call the visit to the occupied Ukrainian territories of Crimea and Mariupol a challenge by the Russian president to the International Criminal Court, which issued a warrant for his arrest.
Putin has not personally commented on his arrest warrant, which has left him even more isolated, even though the likelihood of an arrest in the near future is extremely low.
On the eve of March 18, an action was also held in Prague in memory of the dead residents of the city, who used the premises of the Mariupol Drama Theater as a shelter.
Recall that the media partly identified the people who met the President of the Russian Federation. According to local media, two people in the published footage are local residents.
