Today, the memory of Konon of Mandon is venerated in the Orthodox Church. He is known for his humble lifestyle and serving God until his last breath. Once a governor named Publius was sent to destroy all Christians, and Conon became one of his victims. He was asked at the trial what he would choose: renounce God and worship idols or die, he chose the Lord, for which he was subjected to torture and death.
