Elon Musk believes that this plays into the hands of the ex-president: if he is arrested, “Trump will be re-elected with a resounding success.”
Former United States President Donald Trump has said he expects to be arrested next week in connection with an investigation by the Manhattan District Attorney. This was reported on Saturday, March 18 by the American television channel CNN, citing Trump’s post on his closed social network Truth Social.
“The leading Republican candidate and former US president will be arrested next Tuesday. Protest, take back our nation,” the politician’s post was quoted by CNN.
Trump said he would be arrested on Tuesday over allegations that he paid porn star Stormy Daniels to keep quiet about their alleged affair.

The former president is expected to stand trial in Manhattan after formal charges are filed. Trump has expressed interest in making a speech thereafter, though whether he will eventually do so is unclear.
Trump has privately complained that he thinks he will be charged because he thinks Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg “hates him,” Trump said, according to a source familiar with Trump’s remarks.
Some Trump advisers have privately urged him not to call for protests, fearing mass protests on the streets of Manhattan would spiral out of control or resemble the attack on the US Capitol on January 6, 2021.
Elon Musk reacts to Trump’s possible arrest
Tesla CEO Elon Musk supported former President Donald Trump in his Twitter post. According to him, the politician will win “a stunning victory” if the district attorney of Manhattan arrests him.

“If this happens, Trump will be re-elected to a new term in a stunning victory,” Musk wrote.
Recall that on March 15, former NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said that Donald Trump’s running for the US presidential election could sabotage aid to Ukraine in the war and lead Kyiv to surrender.
On March 14, Donald Trump said that if he was re-elected, the nuclear threat would allegedly disappear, and also stressed that he was categorically against changing the dictatorial regime of Vladimir Putin in Russia.
Earlier, on January 26, on his page on the Truth Social social network, he criticized the transfer of Abrams tanks to Ukraine. In his opinion, it is from this that a more brutal confrontation with nuclear bombs can begin.
