Today you can not drink alcohol and quarrel.
What happened on this day:
Today, the memory of 42 martyrs from the city of Amorite, in particular Constantine, is venerated in the Orthodox Church. Saint Constantine lived in the 9th century and was a priest. But Constantine left his rank in order to protect his city of Ammorea from the Saracens. Together with 41 other defenders, he was captured and taken to Syria. There, Muslims forced the soldiers to renounce the Christian faith and convert to Islam. But Constantine remained faithful to God, for which he was thrown into the Euphrates River.
