According to officials, about 10,000 Ukrainians receive increased pensions. Most of them are judges and prosecutors.
According to the “Report on the number of pensioners and the amount of assigned pensions”, more than 10 thousand Ukrainians receive increased pensions and payments. Of these, 3637 are former employees of the judiciary, 5757 are employees of the prosecutor’s office and 762 people’s deputies. This was announced by Deputy Director of the Department of Pensions of Ukraine Svetlana Shuta, reports “Apostrophe”.
According to Svetlana Shuta, the report on the number of pensioners and the amount of monthly pensions assigned does not imply disclosure of information about those who receive higher pensions or retired for life.
“Information regarding the amount of a pension or the monthly life allowance of a particular person is not subject to disclosure in the form of open data, since it is confidential,” the response to a request from journalists says.
However, the Pension Fund of Ukraine annually, as of January 1 of each year, generates the state statistical observation “Report on the number of pensioners and the amounts of assigned monthly pensions.
“The report does not provide for the allocation of recipients of the highest pensions or lifelong financial allowances for retired judges,” the text of the letter also mentions.
According to Svetlana Shuta, as of January 1, 2022, the following were registered with the Pension Fund:
762 persons who were granted a pension in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On the Status of a People’s Deputy”; 5757 persons were assigned a pension in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On the Prosecutor’s Office”; another 3637 persons are provided with a monthly lifelong allowance in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On the Judicial System and Status judges.”
The deputy director of the department also provided a table of monthly deductions for the past year, which were used to pay pensions and monthly life maintenance of retired judges, in accordance with the mentioned laws.
According to this information, as of January 2023, the average monthly life allowance for judges was UAH 96,550, for prosecutors — UAH 22,742, and for MPs — UAH 15,356.

Recall that charitable pensions have appeared. Citizens aged 16 years and older can pay a pension contribution for themselves or another person.
The PFC, in turn, calculated how the average amount of payments increased. According to the Pension Fund, the size of the average pension in Ukraine as of March 1 this year amounted to UAH 5,219.69.
