Sales of the Kaiyi E5 sedan began in Russia, which are produced at the Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad. The first dealer center of the Chinese brand Kaiyi has already opened in Moscow.

Kaliningrad-assembled sedans are adapted to Russian operating conditions, in particular, they have a modernized suspension, felt fender liner, enhanced sound insulation in the rear of the cabin and heated front seats.
In the richest version for Russia, the Kaiyi E5 has a number of additional options, in particular, a stability control system, an electromechanical parking brake, a climate control sensor unit and some others.
Avtotor announced that a total of four configurations will be produced. The car factory has not yet named prices for them, but experts suggest that the cheapest version with a fabric interior and mechanics can cost around 1.65 million rubles. And this is direct competition with cars produced by AVTOVAZ and Moskvich.
Kaiyi E5, in fact, is a turned Chery Arrizo 7 sample of 2013-2019.
