The Mercedes GLA and GLB have updated appearance and interior, as well as expanded equipment. Crossovers are offered in petrol, diesel and hybrid versions.

The design of the Mercedes GLA and GLB has changed only in details. Crossovers have been replaced with bumpers, hood and grille, as well as refreshed headlights and lanterns. Versions from AMG are traditionally distinguished by a more aggressive design of the front end with a huge “mouth” of the radiator grille.

The main innovation in the cabin is a five-spoke steering wheel. In addition, Mercedes-Benz crossovers received an advanced MBUX multimedia system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The basic equipment of the Mercedes GLA and GLB was replenished with a rear-view camera, and an expensive Burmester audio system appeared among the options.

The rechargeable hybrid Mercedes GLA250e received an increase in power – now the power plant develops 218 hp. With. The 1.3 liter (136 and 163 hp) and 2.0 liter (224 and 306 hp) petrol engines are now complemented by a “mild” hybrid setup.

Remained in the offer and 2.0-liter turbodiesels with 116, 150 and 190 hp. With. There are also electric versions in the lineup, but they will be updated separately. As before, the crossovers are equipped with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic and are available with front- or all-wheel drive.

The models will go on sale this summer. The Mercedes GLA starts at $38,650 and the GLB starts at $40,095.
