
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny explained that Bakhmut plays a decisive role in order to contain the Russians and hold the Ukrainian front line.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Valery Zaluzhny, said that the defense of Bakhmut is of great strategic importance for containing the Russians. This is stated in the message of the Commander-in-Chief on his Facebook page.
According to the general, the defense operation in the Bakhmut region is of paramount strategic importance for deterring the Russian army and is key to the stability of the defense of the entire Ukrainian front.
“I respect the strength, courage and invincibility of our soldiers in Bakhmut. The defensive operation in this direction is of paramount strategic importance for deterring the enemy. It is key to the stability of the defense of the entire front,” Zaluzny writes.
The Commander-in-Chief thanked the Ukrainian defenders and defenders who give a worthy rebuff to the occupiers and bring the victory of Ukraine closer.
Today, according to British intelligence, it became known that the Russian Armed Forces do not stop trying to break through the defenses of Bakhmut, but the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to hold a strategically important direction.
