For beets baked in the oven, you need to have foil and a cooking sleeve. Turn on the oven to heat up to 200 degrees. Without cutting, carefully wash the beets, put them in a culinary sleeve and tie tightly on both sides, trying to keep as little air inside as possible. We wrap 2-3 layers of foil on top and send it to a preheated oven.
It takes about an hour and a half to bake a medium-sized beetroot. We check its readiness with a toothpick. When we see that everything is ready – take it out, let it cool without unfolding the foil. That’s all – after that, the beets baked in the oven can be used as you like – as part of salads, with side dishes, and it’s just very tasty on its own.
