The premium brand TANK, part of the Great Wall, held a presentation for the Russian market, where it announced configurations and prices for the Tank 500 SUV. Nikita Gudkov, deputy editor-in-chief of Za Rulem magazine, shared his first impressions of what he saw.
First of all, he noted that the car is not as big as it looks in the photographs. Experts compared the Tank 500 with the Toyota Land Cruiser 200, but, according to Gudkov, it is “missing” before it. But what surprised me was the abundance of chrome, fitted unexpectedly inaccurately for the modern “Chinese”. By the way, only the version with a spare wheel under the bottom, and not on the back door, will go to Russia.

“But the salon is expensive and rich, the Cruiser never dreamed of – even the“ three hundredth ”. The steering column is electrically adjustable, the rear sofa is ventilated. The expert also noted that the automaker carried out a number of improvements for the Russian market, in particular, an additional anticorrosive agent.
Delighted Nikita Gudkov and a palette of four colors in which SUVs are painted. At the same time, only one is frankly dark – the rest are all sorts of gray-beige.
