The online broadcast of the presentation will take place very soon.
Last week, a teaser vaguely hinted at the imminent appearance of a new Volkswagen concept.
Now we’re being told that the concept will not only represent a future production EV, but also Wolfsburg’s “fresh design language.”

Scheduled for Wednesday, March 15, the event will be hosted by CEO Thomas Schäfer, joined by Chief Designer Andreas Mindt. They will talk about “how Volkswagen will be positioned in the coming years.”
It will be an entry-level, front-wheel-drive EV that is slightly smaller than the recently updated ID.3. It may be called ID.2, and perhaps even Golf.
The new zero-emission model will be the first model from the German automaker to use the MEB+ platform.
Models based on the MEB + platform will receive lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) batteries, providing a range of 700 km (stated). It is expected that the novelty will cost from 25,000 euros (about 2 million rubles).
