According to the defenders of the border, the Ukrainian side regularly commits “provocations against them with the aim of demoralization and psychological pressure.”
Border guards from Belarus again complained about their colleagues from Ukraine. This time they didn’t like the mannequin, about which the propagandist state television channel ONT filmed a story.
This time, employees at the Glushkovichi outpost of the Gomel district on the border with the Zhytomyr region spoke about the hard fate of serving, because, according to them, their Ukrainian colleagues constantly insult and intimidate them.
Belarus is talking about aggressive gestures, offensive inscriptions, leaflets, audio recordings on the topic of politics, and even threatening calls. This time, the border guards were afraid of a mannequin named Valera, who was hanged by the Ukrainian military.
“A model of a hanged serviceman in the form of the Russian army was installed, whom the Ukrainian border guards called Valera. They indicated that this was a serviceman killed near Kiev. This was all with the aim of some kind of intimidation and psychological pressure on the servicemen guarding the state border of our country,” he complained Deputy head of the border outpost “Glushkovichi” Vladislav Zenkovich.
It is noteworthy that this is far from the first complaint from Belarusians against Ukrainians.
On January 6, border guards from Belarus were offended by “offensive gestures” from their Ukrainian colleagues. In their opinion, the Ukrainian side is behaving “provocatively” on the state border. As evidence, the story shows footage in which an alleged Ukrainian border guard first waves his hand and then swipes it across his throat.
