Author’s recipe for potatoes baked in a sleeve with vegetables
The author of the recipe, culinary blogger Uncle Zhenya calls this baked potato “Faun’s Rest”, meaning that during almost the entire cooking process, the cook can rest. The oven does everything for him in alliance with the culinary sleeve. Potatoes are baked with vegetables.
Potato “Faun’s Rest”
Ingredients:
potatoes – 1 kg; onion – 1; carrot – 1; tomato – 1-2; Italian herbs; butter – 1.5 tbsp. l .; garlic; greens; salt
We make baked potatoes “Faun’s Rest” from about a kilogram of potatoes. Cut it into medium slices. One onion – thin rings. One carrot – small sticks. We put all this in a bowl, rub a tomato there (or two, if small). Add seasoning (in our case, Italian herbs). Salt, add a tablespoon and a half of butter. Mix thoroughly.
We put the prepared raw materials in a culinary sleeve, pack and put in the oven at a temperature of 180 degrees. We note the time and … Rest! Indeed, in the next hour and a half, you will not have to do anything – just wait. The sleeve provides the perfect cooking mode.
After an hour and a half, turn off the oven, cut the film. Add finely chopped greens and garlic, cover with a film and let stand for another five minutes – let the dish soak in flavors. Divide into bowls and enjoy. “Fan’s Rest” is very similar to fried potatoes – but, of course, much better, Uncle Zhenya guarantees!
