Published footage of a mass accident that occurred in Hungary, 25 km from Budapest. 32 cars, five trucks and five trucks collided.
The Hungarian General Directorate for Disaster Relief reported that the collision occurred on the lanes towards the city of Gyor. The accident resulted in a massive fire that “burnt out” nineteen vehicles and the cab of one truck.
Due to onlookers on the other side of the road, a collision also occurred, but only two cars heading towards Budapest.
70 firefighters and four helicopters took part in the liquidation of the consequences of the accident. Unfortunately, one person tragically died. Forty others were injured, two of them were taken to hospital in serious condition, and 12 were seriously injured. The remaining 26 victims received minor injuries.
Now asphalt is being shifted at the site of a mass accident, as it has become completely unusable due to a fire.
The Associated Press notes that a storm could have caused the deterioration in visibility and, as a result, the accident. This version is confirmed by the footage taken by car DVRs.
