I have long wanted to tell you the story of Nastya. Member of our brigade.
Avdiivka, the first day of the war. Nastya, a hip-hop dance teacher, does not run away from the city, but goes to sign up for a local TPO. Receives weapons and first combat missions.
When I first met her and began to cross paths in the service, at first I did not believe it and thought it was some kind of joke. Next to me are special equipment, miners, nuclear workers, anyone, but not a fragile girl choreographer.
But it’s really unusual when you go somewhere, in full gear, and on the way you can get distracted and talk about Break Dance or a separate form of hip-hop – popping (which I once also did a little).
Of course, from the first day I asked her the question: “How did you even get here?”
“What else should I do? They destroyed everything that I had – my dance school, which I lived. My native Avdiivka and the choreographic school – that’s all that was in my life. I had to defend myself, protect the city and children, who went to me, “- this was approximately the answer of Nastya, about 8 months ago, when we met.
Now she continues to serve in one of our companies. I wanted to put her photo from Avdiivka, but she was against it, she says: “There I was tired and in a dirty uniform.” What can you do – a woman remains a woman even in the status of a fighter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
