A new Chinese brand Jetour has appeared in Russia, this is a sub-brand of Chery aimed at a relatively young audience, introduced in China in 2018.
It is expected that by the end of spring 2023, two crossovers will appear on the Russian market: Jetour X90 (a competitor to Toyota Highlander) and Jetour Dashing.
Jetour Dashing is a new model of the brand, in size (length – 4590 mm) comparable to the popular crossover Toyota Rav 4.
The exterior design is made in the original style, a distinctive feature is a frameless radiator grille, retractable door handles and two-story front optics.
In the cabin, in the center of the front panel, there is a large media system display (15.6 inches) and a small dashboard screen for the driver (in general, the interior architecture is reminiscent of the Tesla Model 3).
A projection display is already in the database. By the way, all the on-board electronics of the Jetour Dashing 2023 crossover were developed by Huawei technology company.
According to the official Russian website of Jetour, the Dashing crossover will be offered in the following modifications:
1.5 petrol turbo engine (156 hp) and manual transmission 1.5 petrol turbo engine (156 hp) and “robot” with two clutches 1.6 petrol turbo engine (197 hp) and seven-speed “robot” All versions have only front-wheel drive.
Prices and equipment in Russia for Jetour Dashing will be announced soon. Our forecast is that the cost of the crossover will be around 2,500,000 rubles.

The Chinese car brand Jetour, owned by Chery, continues to prepare to enter the Russian market. For the first time, such plans became known about her in the summer of 2022, but representatives of the company did not make official statements.
Nevertheless, at the beginning of 2023, Jetour Motors Rus began its work in Russia, a company that, according to rumors, is already certifying several Jetour crossovers. One of them is the 4.6-meter Dashing SUV.
This is the brand’s third model after the X70 and X90 / X95 crossovers, which have been released in many modifications over 5 years.
And it became a landmark, as it was developed simultaneously with the change in the overall style of the brand and even the concept. Now Jetour cars began to be positioned as youth SUVs with high-tech equipment and having a “tourist” focus. Hence the close cooperation with Huawei, and the appearance of an optional package of branded accessories, which included a variety of travel equipment: a roof rack, tents, sleeping bags, etc.
External design
Jetour Dashing 2023 is often compared to the Lamborghini Urus due to the similar appearance of these machines. Both crossovers have a characteristic “predatory” front end, but the “Chinese” has a completely different one – a frameless radiator grille, as well as elegant two-story optics. With a wheelbase of 2720 mm. the length of the car body is 4590 mm., width – 1900 mm., height – 1685 mm.
To add exclusivity to the exterior of the car, the Jetour Dasheng has large 20-inch wheels, retractable door handles, and a rear spoiler with a “sporty” brake light that integrates a rear-view camera.
Salon
The interior of the Jetour Dashing 2023 crossover is original in its own way and is also made in youth style. Sports seats with original headrests, a steering wheel, a small “tidy” and a huge 15.6-inch central “TV”.
The on-board system was created by Huawei specialists, who tried to demonstrate their maximum: multimedia is controlled by voice, has extensive online capabilities, and as a bonus, a regular projection screen with augmented reality is installed on the car. Other “chips” include a footrest in the front passenger seat, contour lighting with a palette of 256 colors and the ability to control the car’s door locks via an application on a smartphone.
Technical filling
In China, the Jetour Dasheng is offered in three versions:
Turbocharged gasoline unit 1.5 TCI with a capacity of 156 liters. With. (230 Nm) + 6MKPP or “robot”
Turbo engine 1.6 TGDI with a capacity of 197 liters. With. (290 Nm) + “box” 7-DSG
Turbo engine 1.5 + two electric motors with a total capacity of 326 liters. With. (565 Nm).
Only the hybrid version is all-wheel drive, but all three options get standard adaptive cruise control.
Prices and start of sales in Russia
Chinese prices for Jetour Dasheng 2023 look attractive: 99.9-135.9 thousand yuan, which is equivalent to 1.08-1.47 million rubles. The Russian dealer has not yet announced the price, but it is more than likely that the lower cost bar will be at the level of 2.5 million rubles. According to insiders, the first deliveries of Dasheng SUVs can be expected next spring.
