On Monday, March 13, an air defense system went off over Belgorod and the Belgorod region (RF). This was announced by the Governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram channel.
At 5:44 am Kyiv time, he reported that the air defense system had shot down 4 missiles.
“The consequences on the ground are being clarified. One victim is already known. An ambulance team went to the scene. There are also injuries from rocket debris in 2 private households,” Gladkov wrote.
Somewhat later, the governor clarified information about the first victim.
According to him, the ambulance takes the woman with a concussion to the hospital. The victim does not have an open wound. Condition of moderate severity. The woman is provided with the necessary medical care.
Information about rockets over the city also appeared in the local Telegram channel “Belgorod Informant”.
The media suggests that the flashes in the sky over Belgorod are not connected with the operation of the air defense system that shot down “foreign” missiles, but with a missile of the Russian Armed Forces, which was supposed to destroy targets in Ukraine, but exploded in the air.
According to the Telegram channel, fragments of the rocket fell on the roofs of private houses and city skyscrapers.
