Irakli Garibashvili called some representatives of the Ukrainian political elite “sleazy losers” and said that the Georgian authorities themselves will take care of their country.
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili reproached Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and other representatives of the Ukrainian authorities for supporting the protests that took place in Tbilisi in connection with the adoption of the law on foreign agents. The politician stated this on the air of the IMEDI TV channel on March 12.
According to Garibashvili, the Ukrainian leader has a certain interest in carrying out “destructive actions of several thousand people” on the territory of Georgia.
“You mentioned Zelensky’s appeal. When a person in a state of war finds time and responds to a destructive action carried out here, carried out by several thousand people, this is direct evidence that he is turned on, he is motivated so that something happens here, changes,” – said the head of the Georgian government.
In his comments, the Georgian prime minister described some representatives of the Ukrainian political elite as “sloppy losers” who allegedly directly interfere in Georgia’s internal affairs.
“Klitschko came out, Feygin came out and some unknown persons, Ukrainian politicians, Arakhamia and some sloppy losers who say that changes are needed, a coup, and this is direct intervention,” Garibashvili added.
At the same time, the prime minister wished Ukraine to end the war and achieve peace as soon as possible, but added that the Georgian authorities themselves would take care of their country.
“I want to wish everyone success, a timely end to the war and peace. Unite the country, but first take care of yourself and the country, we will take care of our country,” the Georgian prime minister summed up.
Recall that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky expressed gratitude for the fact that protesters in Georgia held the Ukrainian flag and sang the Ukrainian anthem during rallies in Tbilisi. The head of state noted that Ukrainians wish Georgia democratic and European success.
