The policemen of the Kherson region, during the stabilization measures in the village of Bruskinskoe, Veliko Oleksandrovsky community, discovered a man’s burial in the local cemetery. It was preliminarily established that he was tortured by the invaders. This was reported in the press service of the police.
According to preliminary data from law enforcement officers, a 63-year-old local resident was tortured to death by the Russian military at the end of September 2022. Then the settlement was occupied by the RF Armed Forces. Based on the established facts, the police opened criminal proceedings for violating the laws and customs of war.

“While assisting the victims, examining the scene of the tragedy and fixing the consequences of the attack, the Russian military fired on emergency services again. There were no wounded, but the police car was damaged,” the press service said.
On March 9, investigators opened 48 criminal proceedings for war crimes committed by Russian soldiers. The police also received reports from the temporarily occupied Verkhnerohachitsky community that the RF Armed Forces took possession of emergency vehicles.
